The Challenge

Maintain display readability and gloved operation while retaining the existing front-panel cutout and Linux host.

Display Selection Considerations

We reviewed brightness, viewing angle, temperature range, outline dimensions, and lifecycle against a 7-inch IPS platform.

What Was Adapted

We adapted AG cover glass and PCAP touch to the existing front panel and specified glove requirements.

Display & Touch Driver Integration

We brought up the display on the Linux host and align USB touch mapping, orientation, and video timing.

Validation & Production Handover

Review image output and display timing, relevant touch or communication behavior, mechanical fit, and the approved configuration before pilot production. Project-specific results and qualification records should be added to the final case study.
